Terms and Conditions

Chat auto-delete

Public and 1-to-1 messages expire 24 hours after sending and are automatically removed from the active chat database by periodic cleanup. Public rooms also keep only their latest 100 messages, so older messages may be deleted sooner. Logs, metadata, backups and legally preserved records can follow different retention rules; see the details below.

Terms and Conditions · Privacy Policy

1. About these terms

These Terms govern use of Anamaak at www.anamaak.live, including public rooms and direct messages. “Anamaak”, “we” and “our” refer to the service operated under the Anamaak name. Contact: official@thebluebamboo.in. By selecting the acceptance checkbox and continuing, you agree to these Terms. The Privacy Policy explains data handling; acknowledging it is not a waiver of your privacy rights.

2. Adults only and truthful participation

You must be at least 18 and legally able to agree to these Terms. Do not use the service if you are under 18. The age checkbox is a self-declaration, not independent age verification. We may restrict access if we reasonably suspect underage use. Use a nickname, do not impersonate others, and do not imply that Anamaak has verified your identity, age or gender. A selected gender is self-reported and may be “Prefer not to say”.

3. Public rooms, private chats and session identity

Public messages are visible to users who enter the relevant room, including recent room history. Direct messages are delivered to the two session identities involved and are not published in the public room. Direct messages are stored on our server and are not end-to-end encrypted. Authorized administrators and infrastructure providers may access data when necessary to operate, secure, investigate misuse of, or meet legal obligations for the service. Each new entry from the details screen creates a new chat identity. Room switching within that entry preserves the identity. Home exit, refresh, or closing the page ends ordinary access to that identity; using the same nickname again does not recover its private chats. Display names are not accounts or ownership credentials.

4. Community rules and prohibited conduct

Do not send threats, targeted harassment, stalking, hate or discriminatory abuse; sexual exploitation, grooming or sexual content involving anyone under 18; obscene or otherwise unlawful sexual material; non-consensual intimate content or sexual solicitation; doxxing or another person’s confidential information; scams, phishing, extortion or financial fraud; content infringing intellectual property; incitement to violence or unlawful acts; malicious code, harmful links, spam or deceptive advertising. Do not request passwords, OTPs, payment credentials, identity documents or intimate material from strangers. Do not impersonate people, manipulate sender identities, bypass restrictions, probe other users’ private data, scrape conversations, flood the service or use unauthorized bots. You must have the necessary rights to content you share and comply with laws applicable to you.

5. Content ownership and limited permission

You retain rights you hold in your messages. You grant Anamaak only the non-exclusive permission needed to receive, store, reproduce and transmit that content for the chat service, safety investigations and legally required preservation. This does not transfer ownership or give Anamaak a general license to sell your private messages. Recipients may copy or screenshot messages; Anamaak cannot guarantee their conduct or recall copies outside its systems. Do not post information you cannot risk disclosing.

6. Safety reports and grievances

Send abuse, privacy and grievance reports to official@thebluebamboo.in with subject “Anamaak report”, the room or conversation, relevant nicknames, date/time and a concise description. Include available message details or a screenshot where necessary; do not redistribute illegal material or send excessive sensitive data. We may ask for information reasonably needed to locate the content and assess the report. Applicable statutory complaint, removal, preservation and response deadlines take priority over these Terms. We do not promise continuous human monitoring or that all unlawful content will be detected. In an immediate emergency, contact local emergency services; this service is not an emergency response channel.

7. Restrictions, removal and lawful requests

We may restrict sessions, disconnect users, remove or disable content, or preserve relevant records when reasonably necessary to address rule violations, protect users or the service, investigate credible reports, or comply with law and lawful orders. Enforcement should be proportionate to the issue; you may contest a restriction using the grievance contact. Rate limits and session limits may apply. We may report suspected offences and cooperate with competent authorities where required or permitted by applicable law. Routine expiry does not override a lawful preservation requirement.

8. Availability and responsibility

The service is provided as available. Connections may fail, history may expire, access may be restricted, and features may change. We do not verify every user or endorse user messages, links or advice. You are responsible for your own conduct and reasonable care in interactions with strangers. Do not rely on chats as professional medical, legal, financial or emergency advice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim implied warranties and liability for indirect or consequential losses arising from service interruptions or third-party conduct. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or intentional wrongdoing, or removes mandatory consumer, privacy or other statutory rights.

9. Ending use and data retention

You may stop at any time. “Exit to home” disconnects your session; closing a page or losing connectivity is detected through the connection lifecycle. Disconnecting does not immediately erase server records. Public and 1-to-1 message history expires 24 hours after each message is sent; reading, replying or switching rooms does not extend that period. Expired message rows are automatically removed from the active database at startup and by cleanup running approximately every minute. Public rooms retain no more than their latest 100 messages, and messages beyond that room’s limit are removed when newer messages are saved, even if less than 24 hours old. A history view loads only the latest 50 retained messages. Cleanup failures can delay physical removal; expired messages remain excluded from ordinary history queries. This is not a guarantee of immediate erasure from backups, database journals, recipients’ copies, separate metadata, security logs or records preserved for legal obligations. Those limits and your deletion-request options are described in the Privacy Policy. Do not rely on Anamaak as permanent storage or a way to recall copies already saved by another person. We cannot restore an expired or lost session merely from its nickname.

10. Changes and applicable law

The version and effective date appear below. Material changes will be communicated through the website or entry flow, and renewed acceptance will be requested where necessary. Changes do not remove accrued rights or override mandatory law. These Terms are governed by laws applicable to the service and your use; disputes may be brought before courts or authorities with lawful jurisdiction. No mandatory arbitration, foreign venue, or waiver of non-waivable rights is imposed by these Terms. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent lawful.
